Andrew's Active Forces

In my eleven years of table-top gaming, I have amassed a considerable collection of miniatures that range from Games Workshop to Privateer Press to Warlord. I don't regret any of my purchases and, while sometimes my armies are out of the meta or underpowered during certain editions of rules, I love playing all of them nonetheless. Listed below are the current forces I have in my arsenal.

Warhammer 40,000
Warhammer, I consider, to be my first full-blown table-top game. I started with it and have stuck with its ups and downs for over a decade. With their latest edition, Games Workshop has made a lot of changes that has revived the game for me and I do love the universe of Warhammer 40,000 and will likely never put the hobby or game down. I started with the Imperial Guard and still have them -- always growing, Grey Knights, Sisters of Battle, and to a lesser extent Deathwatch and more recently my homebrew Space Marine chapter of the Lyran Guard.

Dropzone Commander
I've recently been getting back into Dropzone Commander within the last month or two. I used to play it quite often several years ago, but the community has since dropped off as a result of numerous events (schooling, marriages, etc.). Luckily, however, I've managed to get a couple of friends interested in it and I'm glad to be back. DZC has always been one of my favorite systems and I'm really excited to be getting back into it!

Warmachine/Hordes
Warmachine/Hordes was the second major table-top game my friends and I got into. I attempted to resist my draw to Russian-esque factions when deciding who I wanted to play. Unfortunately for me, however, I could not stop myself from aligning with Khador. I loved the aesthetic of the faction and Sorscha -- its cryokinetic female warcaster. Currently, Khador is somewhat out of the meta considering it's reliance on infantry (of which all other factions currently possess very efficient ways of eliminating them). Nonetheless, I do love Khador.
